Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit?
The brackets for the KoJack are designed to fit the majority of AL-KO caravan chassis from
1992 onwards and most BPW chassis from 2001 onwards.
The brackets bolt onto the caravan chassis utilising two holes, with a distance of
55mm centre to centre, that are pre-drilled.
These holes are usually located close to the wheels to the rear of the axle.

Please check your chassis to ensure suitability ie. a visual check and measurement
of the pre-drilled
holes for verification.

Elddis, Compass and Buccaneer caravans (Explorer Group) are built on BPW chassis.
The KoJack may only be suitable for these caravans after 2001.

Will it fit a twin axle caravan?
The KoJack is suitable for caravans with a maximum gross weight of 2000kg
(suitable for twin axles up to this weight).
The brackets need to locate onto existing/pre-drilled holes on the chassis, only.
Other points are not suitable due to the design specification of the Kojack and its brackets.

Are the brackets available separately?
Please contact us for further information.

Can I use the KoJack or brackets in conjunction with any other jack?
The KoJack and brackets are designed only to work together.

Is the minimum height of 125mm low enough to get under a deflated tyre?
There should be enough room to utilise the jack in this situation.

Can I drill holes in my caravan chassis to fit the brackets?
We do not recommend drilling into your chassis.
The brackets only locate on pre-drilled holes of 55mm centre to centre.

Can it work with the AL-KO under slung spare wheel carrier ?
If the holes used for the KoJack are covered by the wheel carrier,
the Kojack is not suitable and will not fit. It is generally possible to move the spare
wheel carrier to one side to enable access to the spare wheel and fitment
of the KoJack.

Can it be left in place permanently?
No. The Kojack is a sturdy, easy to use and portable jack - but it is a lifting device only
and designed for use on hard level surfaces.

Is the yellow levelling chock shown in the pictures included?
It is for demonstration purposes only and is not included.
